Xi Beach
The beach Xi is definitely one of the best known beaches of Kefalonia. It is a large beach that with it’s red sand and the shallow water fascinates. The beach gotit’s name from the little bay, which looks likes the letter X from the Greek alphabet. The shallow water ande the smooth waves are ideal for children and infants.
The beach is well organised with straw-parasols and sundecks. On the beach exists a bar that offers cold drinks and snacks. Likewise you will find a tavern for an extensive meal with sea view! Likewise are various water sports offered. In the area you will find many taverns, rooms available for rent and small shops. The beach is easily accessible by car or by public buses from Lixouri.
