Malerische Dörfe in Kefalonia

At the south-west coast of the Greek island Kefalonia lies the district Svoronata in the south-east of the island capital Argostoli. The district is located near an airport which simplifies a comfortable arrival, nevertheless one can experience a calm and relaxing stay in Svoronata amidst a beautiful landscape. Mountains, olive groves and fields rich with wild flowers shape the environment.

Even though Svoronata does not directly lie at the coast, one can reach the gorgeous beaches of Ammes, Avithos and Ai by foot.

Svoronata is ideal for a holiday with children since it is a quiet yet central place. So, one can let the children play and rollick about and still be able to explore the surrounding region during day trips. Especially child-friendly is the beach of Avithos because it is very shallow and gently decreases into the sea.

Who wants to discover the whole island, finds in Svoronata a comfortable base in order to go on an expedition in Kefalonia. For example, there is the possibility to visit the island's capital Argostoli by bus, the drive takes about 20 minutes and is a daily offer.

Who plan their holiday in a holiday apartment or a holiday lodge without catering, may find on site three little groceries. Moreover there are several taverns in the centre of Svoronata.
