The beach of Spartia lies at the south coast of Kefalonia, about 12 km from Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. The traditional fishermen’s village is situated in the area of Livathos where you may enjoy the beauty of Nature, which has stayed mostly untouched.
The beach of Spartia is next to jetty of the fishermen secluded by a limestone rock known as Hatzoklis. In case you want to walk along the beach you will find interesting stony enclaves and pools nearby. The water is like in the rest of Kefalonia, clean, blue and warm. There are a couple of taverns as well on the backside of the beach.
