Skala Beach

The small fishermen’s village Skala is located at the southern tip of the island of Kefalonia in the vicinity of Mounda Bay where you will find this beautiful long sand beach surrounded by thick bushes, hills and rocks.

The water is clear and the beach has been awarded with the blue flag in the year 2003.

The beach is well constructed and touristically very actively populated in summer, nevertheless you can find a desolate place on the long stretch. On the main part of the beach are parasols and beach chairs offered.

Snorkeling is a nice activity by the beach. You may also discover the beautiful seaworld in a boat with glass ground or visit the nearby islands.

There are cafés and bars near the beach as well as markets, british pubs, taverns and vehicle-leasing in the nearby village Skala.
